Established as a non-profit organization 1997, the Assisted Living / Personal Care Network (ALPCN) is made up of individual member homes with locations in Austin, Bastrop, Georgetown, Lampasas, Leander, and Round Rock, Texas. As a devoted group of individuals and businesses we believe that you’re loved one deserves the loving care, quiet contentment, and feeling of security provided by small Assisted Living and Personal Care Homes.What are Assisted Living & Personal Care Homes? They are private residences devoted to caring for individuals who are unable to live alone. The staff provides assistance or support with activities of daily living; eating, bathing, grooming, ambulating, dressing, toileting, and assisting with medications. Residences are small, with fewer than 25 residents, and staffed 24-hours per day. Below are photos of some of our member homes:
There are two
types of homes as defined by the Texas Department of Human
Services Regulations,
There are two size of assisted living homes - Small and Large Small - Small homes are defined as those with 16 residents or less. Staff in a Small home is not required to remain awake but must be immediately available. Large - Large facilities are defined as those with 17 residents or more. Staff in a Large home must be awake and immediately available. * * Staff for ALL Type B homes must be awake and immediately available. Personal care homes, caring for less than 4 residents, are not required to be licensed by the state of Texas. Type of Services Provided The types of services
