Arden Courts of Austin was designed exclusively for individuals in early-to-mid stages of Alzheimer's diseaseArden Courts Alzheimer's Assisted Living Austinand offers
all the services normally associated with an assisted living facility.

However, the services have been modified to take into account the unique needs of the Alzheimer's resident with special attention given from the physical building layout, to the safety and decor features with our residents in mind..

Residents are encouraged to continue whatever activities they were used to doing at home - setting the table or preparing for dinner, doing laundry, gardening in the backyard, or going out for social and community activities. All this is accomplished in a warm, friendly, familiar and safe setting supervised by people specially trained to care for those with Alzheimer's disease.

Modified activity and food service programs focus on preferences, abilities and, most importantly, maintaining independence for as long as possible. Of course, personal care assistance is available 24 hours a day.

Arden Courts of Austin is an HCR Manor Care community the country's foremost provider of Alzheimer's care. A range of care settings is offered for people at various stages of Alzheimer's disease and related memory disorders. Since the disease is progressive, an individual's stage of affliction often will determine the level and type of care required. Thefore, we find that family programs and support groups are the key component of all our programs.
