Care
We can provide companion care services that are designed to take over
or assist in the activities that people need to be able to stay at home
safely and with dignity.
These services may include fall prevention,
medication and fluids reminders, light housekeeping, grooming or
bathing assistance, and running errands.
Home Health
RNs (Registered Nurses) and LPNs(Licensed Practical Nurses) who are
qualified to administer medications and perform advanced medical
procedures are also available. We specialize in providing
around-the-clock nursing care. We provide care to clients who have
higher requirements, including quadriplegics and children with special
needs, as well as newborn care and home care for the elderly.
Our
caregivers meet the highest standards. Everyone that works with us is a
company employee with comprehensive benefits. We take care of all
professional and general liability insurance and other personnel costs.

After being out of state for 10 years, Rhone (a native Texan) knew
it was time to "come back home". Chad and Rhone relocated their family
to Austin after Chad completed his MDiv degree at Duke University. The
couple had worked together previously in the healthcare industry and
wanted to find a business that they could build which would ultimately
give back to the community. When they found the BrightStar opportunity,
they were very excited about opening in Austin. Rhone & Chad knew
they could blend their skill sets to offer quality care in the Austin
area to families and institutions.
It can be incredibily difficult when you live far away from your
loved ones and family. Rhone and Chad are dedicated to helping families
find peace of mind when they are in challenging situations and need
dependable, quality care for their family members. Our staff is
commited to helping you any time, any place.
Biography
Rhone's background includes software sales and sales for the family
pharmacy/DME business in Florida. Primary clients of the pharmacy and
DME were assisted living facilities, rehab clinics and skilled nursing
homes. Rhone has her BFA from Southern Methodist University in
Broadcast Journalism & Spanish Literature and an MSM/MBA from the
Georgia Institute of Technology. She is currently pursuing a
designation as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). She is a Texas native
(Dallas).
Chad has his BFA from Davidson College in Economics, an MSM/MBA
from the Georgia Institute of Technology & an MDiv from Duke
University. After receiving his MBA, Chad worked in healthcare
consulting and software information system sales to hospitals. He then
worked in venture capital and private equity investing focused
primarily in the healthcare sector for several years. He is a native of
Columbus, OH.
We were also inspired by the chance to provide a much needed
service and to give back to the Austin community. Chad still has 2
grandmothers (80+) who live on their own, so we are in tune with the
needs of seniors - especially those who do not have family nearby.
