Cedar Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Cedar Park, managed by JEA Senior Living, is specifically designed to care for individuals with Alzheimer's and related dementia's. We understand that caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or a related memory loss is a difficult and challenging experience.

We also understand that the decision to place a loved one in the care of others is perhaps the most difficult decision you will ever have to make. Our special care center is specifically designed, and our staff is carefully selected and trained, to help ease your mind through this process.

"MEANINGFUL MOMENTS" is our distinctive dementia-care program designed to honor the individual life story of each resident, while addressing their unique needs throughout the aging experience. Our 24-hour nursing support and a specially trained staff provide each resident personalized assistance. 

"Cedar Ridge offers license nursing 16 hours a day seven days a week, as well as a Director of Nurses. Our staff are specifically trained in our dementia care program Meaningful Moments which focuses on engaging residents in their day based on past routines and preferences. Our dementia care program supports & educates families to understand that each moment can be meaningful. Families may attend educational programs and support groups. Our programs are designed to build on each resident’s strengths. JEA Senior Living offers personalized services that allow our residents to benefit from individualized care. Personalized assistance is provided in activities of daily living (ADL's). Our services include the following:

24- Hour Licensed Nursing Supervision

At our Alzheimer's Special Care Center, resident care services are provided under the supervision of our licensed, professional nursing staff. Our community is committed to providing a level of nursing care that will meet our resident's ever changing health needs.

Our nursing program includes the following:

1. Administration of medications and treatments.
2. Twenty-four hour clinical management.
3. Assistance with medical appointments.
4. Communication with Physicians as needed.
5. Regularly scheduled care conferences that welcomes family participation.
6. "Aging In Place" philosophy.
7. Care coordination with outside services such as hospice, podiatry and dieticians.
8. Frequent nursing assessments to determine changing care needs.
9. Family support and education.
