Central Texas Regional EMS (CTREMS) is a locally owned medical transport service, whose owners
and operators have over 40 years of combined experience in EMS.
Our
mission is to provide quality medical transportation, by caring professionals.
We
are not a 911 service so our attention and resources are not diverted from your
needs to handle other incoming calls. Our main focus is YOU. We have a full capability ambulance service
that can provide whatever care you or your loved one need.
We can offer the most appropriate level of care for your patient to include:
Wheelchair and gurney van
For patients who do not require medical attendance during transport, we
offer specially equipped vans that can safely and economically transport a patient in a wheelchair. The vans can also transport some additional items and belongings, and a rider (family member or caregiver) if needed.
Basic life support ambulance
For patients that need basic medical attendance and monitoring during transport, CTREMS offers
ambulances staffed with EMT's and equipped to provide basic care such as vital
sign monitoring, oxygen, suctioning and basic emergency cardiac care including AED defibrillation.
Advanced cardiac life support ambulance
For patients requiring a higher level of care, we also field
paramedic ambulances with full ACLS capability including cardiac monitoring, medications and
advanced airway interventions.
Specialty Care Transport
For the most demanding patient transports, CTREMS utilizes our specially
trained Critical Care Paramedics. The Specialty Care Transport Units carry ventilators, IV pumps and
extensive advanced medications. The Critical Care Paramedics have all completed a 600 hour training
course, above and beyond Paramedic training, to safely and confidently care for the most seriously ill
patients. We also have relationships with Air ambulances, both fixed-wing and helicopter, to facilitate long
distance or specialized transports.
Insurance accepted
We bill insurance for all covered services. There is rarely any charge to facilities or individuals for
covered services. You will never be responsible for charges unless you agree to do so in advance. No
surprises.
