Family Eldercare's In-Home Care and Caregiver Services is based on a comprehensive approach to providing support, information and service to both the senior and their caregivers. This 360 Continuum of Care approach offers a full circle of support for our clients. Our caregiver service include In-Home Care, Geriatric Consultation, Custom Cleaning for Independent Senior Living and Lifetime Connections, bringing seniors together over the telephone for conversation and fun. Our Care Attendants are experienced and thoroughly screened. We provide supervision and ongoing training on relevant topics including: Dementia/Alzheimer’s, first aid for older adults, and fall prevention. In-Home CareWe are licensed, insured, and bonded. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Travis and Williamson counties. We have a 3 hour minimum but we will discuss alternatives if required. We offer two levels of service; our Homemaker plan and Personal Assistant Services. With our Homemaker plan, we provide assistance with the following tasks:
Our Personal Assistant services are more “hands-on” and give you or your loved ones the extra care that is needed with the more delicate activities of daily living. These may include the following services with any needed Homemaker services listed above:

Other ServicesCognitive Rehabilitation and Memory Retraining are valuable therapeutic techniques that allow people who are experiencing memory difficulties to remember new or old information and for longer periods of time. Lifetime Connections Without Walls brings seniors together over the telephone for conversation and fun. Older adults join from the comfort of their home, using their own telephone. Our goal is to alleviate social isolation and loneliness. We provide social activities over the phone and bridge distances separating our older adults. Do you know any clients, neighbors or family interested in being part of the phone community? Anyone over the age of 55 can participate! Our services and programs are designed to prevent abuse, neglect, self-neglect and financial exploitation of elders and adults with disabilities, prolong independent living in the least restrictive environment, and promote the health, well-being and dignity of those we serve. Family Eldercare is a non-profit that has been serving Central Texas since 1982. We want to ensure that all older adults receive the care they need to remain independent and living in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. We support caregivers with services and education that allow them the opportunity to have balance in their lives and to maintain good health. Our rates are on a sliding fee scale based on the client’s income. Our services are available in the home, assisted living communities, nursing homes or continuous care communities, and hospitals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
