Welcome to Provident Memory Care! The Provident Memory communities, located in SW Austin and Buda, are Alzheimer's certified and considered a 'social model' of care instead of a 'medical model' of care. Provident Memory Care communities are also ADA compliant, barrier free, and completely covered with a monitored sprinkler system and 24-hour fire system. Additionally, we offer security safety cameras that are located in residence public areas and our backyard patio and garden areas. |

Provident Memory Care is also proud to announce that our facilities are the first in Austin to implement the award-winning Vigil Dementia System. The Vigil System transmits this information to the computer, which generates an audible alert that the resident needs assistance when they are unable to do so. This enables the staff to provide care when and where it is needed, while minimizing unnecessary interventions. The result is an increase in residents’ privacy while maintaining their safety. By reviewing the data that the Vigil Dementia System gathers and stores in the resident’s chart, the staff can anticipate when to get the resident up for a bathroom visit, which minimizes incontinent episodes and sometimes will help the resident gain more control over their incontinence. The resident’s doctor can review the data, noting
when the patient is restless or attempting to get out of bed. If the resident
is on sleep medication, the doctor may note the poor sleep pattern and adjust
the medication accordingly. This sensor also alerts the caregiver to check on
the resident, making sure they get back in bed safely, greatly reducing the
risk of
falls and other injuries. ABOUT OUR COMMUNITIES Provident Memory Care communities strives to have the best care possible for people who have Alzheimer's or related dementia's and to be a leader in the community. Residents will enjoy furnished private rooms in a secured home environment, with service plans designed using input from the residents and their families. All Private Rooms Include:
PAYMENT: We are a private pay community (Medicaid/Medicare not accepted) but do accept most LTC Insurance companies reimburse for the care and VA reimbursement if eligible.
ABOUT OUR STAFF Our facility staff receive intensive training on Alzheimer's disease and the way it affects the residents' language ability, vision, behavior, and ability to take care of themselves. Our specialized staff members are selected not only for their technical skills and knowledge of how to provide personal care, but also for their ability to communicate well. FAMILIES WELCOMED!
We welcome feedback from our families, as well as, our residents. You have our commitment to follow up with you regarding any of your requests or needs. STEPS TO BECOMING A RESIDENT The first step to becoming a resident of an Provident Memory Care community is to visit and meet the staff. We ask that you schedule an appointment for a tour. This will ensure that the staff is available as long as you need them, to answer questions you may have about the services provided to you and your loved one. Also, our communities are very small and the residents who reside there find it difficult if too many new “faces” are introduced into their home throughout the day. However, appointments to tour the general assisted living communities are not required, only encouraged. ABOUT
