ABOUT OUR COMMUNITIES

Our communities offer nutritious, well-balanced meals prepared in our on-site kitchens. A weekly activities calendar offers something for every interest and energy level. The daily chores around the house are included. From housekeeping to laundry, you have the final say in what service you require.

Assisted Living & Memory Care

Assisted Living - Assisted living at one of our fine communities is designed for senior adults who wish to maintain their independent lifestyle but may need some additional assistance to do so. The Resident Care Team, including the Administrator and Nurse, oversees the care and services provided by the specially-trained Resident Assistants.

Apartments are rented on a monthly basis and are fully carpeted with individual climate control and emergency call systems. You will enjoy the privacy of your own individual apartment within a community of care and support.

Memory Care - Our goal is to provide the highest quality-of-life for each of our residents. Sunwest Management, Inc. is dedicated to our life engagement philosophy of social, psychological, spiritual and physical well-being of every individual.

This dedication is reflected in every effort our community makes in caring for residents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease or other related dementias. Our intent is to allow each resident to function independently at his or her level of ability, while providing care and assistance where needed. Our Life Engagement programs are developed around each person's specific interests, abilities, past history and routine. Engagements flow throughout each day to promote cognitive, sensory, creative and physical skills.

Basic Services include:

• 3 delicious meals served daily
• 24-hour specially-trained on-site staff
• Engaging activities
• Apartment maintenance
• Weekly housekeeping and linen service
• Scheduled transportation
• All utilities paid*
• Emergency call systems in each apartment
• Modern fire detection systems

Personal Assistance Services

In addition to the Basic Services, additional levels of Personal Assistance are available and tailored to meet each resident's specific needs. Residents will be assessed prior to move-in and regularly thereafter, to determine which level of care is needed. Additional charges apply based on the Personal Assistance services provided.

• Individualized care plan
• Mealtime reminders
• Escort assistance to and from meals and activities
• Additional housekeeping services
• Personal laundry service
• Assistance with medication management
• Health services: monitoring, supervision, or assistance
• Select diets or snacks
• Select diabetic care
• Assistance with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming
• Incontinence care
• Medical appointment scheduling
• Periodic nighttime care

Each resident will be assessed prior to move-in and regularly thereafter, to determine which level of care is needed.

Independent Retirement Living

Independent living at one of our fine communities is designed for senior adults who wish to maintain their independent lifestyle. Our goal for our independent seniors, is to give you more time to pursue those activities you love, allowing us to make this a reality. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the ambience embraces the uniqueness of the local culture. The variety of services offered will enable you to create your own experience.

Each of our independent living communities offer month-to-month rent, with a variety of floor plans to choose from, without buy-in fees or long-term leases, allows you the freedom to choose where you live today as well as in the future.
