We have reports of a work-at-home scam that may be targeting senior Texans. The ads, which arrive by US Mail, offer high income - two to five thousand dollars a week - for little effort. Details about the "job" are sketchy, but there is reference to "helping needy children."

The offers include testimonials by "customers" who say they have made a lot of money. The scammers also assure the consumer that no experience is needed, no selling is even allowed. No work, no risk. Just send $80.

You have heard us say: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The key is, they promise you money for no work, no risk, no experience. But YOU are the one who will be sending money to THEM first. This is not an opportunity. It is a scam. Don't fall for it.
