Learn more about our programs and services. Caregiver support groups can be a vital lifeline for caregivers of persons with dementia. Support groups help attendees understand they are not alone, share their feelings about what they are facing, and a great way to learn from each other. Our groups are volunteer-run and meet at a variety of times and locations. Early Stage support groups are offered throughout the year and are accessible by phone. Caregivers often feel isolated and alone. AGE offers educational events, information, resources, and support groups for people who provide care to an aging or disabled adult. Monthly Caregiver Support Groups -- these support groups are free and not disease-specific: In Round Rock: 2nd Tuesdays of each month, Noon to 1:30 p.m., in the Taylor Education Building of Grace Lutheran Church, 708 Bluff Road, Round Rock, TX 78681. In Austin: 4th Wednesdays of each month, Noon to 1:30 p.m., in the Founder’s Room of the AGE Building, 3710 Cedar Street,Austin, TX 78705. Lewy Body Dementia Support Group: The Lewy Body Dementia Support Group meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month, in Founder’s Room of the AGE Building (3710 Cedar Street, Austin, TX 78705), from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
