Map it! Funding for the transportation program is provided by the Houston-Galveston Area Council and Texas Health & Human Services Commission. The Transportation Enrichment Program is offered to Galveston County groups or organizations with senior citizens age 55 or older in need of transportation services for their activities and social outings. Our transportation drivers make scheduled daily trips to participants’ homes and will bring our participants to and from our community centers, Monday-Friday. In addition, we also make planned trips to local grocery stores, the post office and more. We have a 28-passenger bus and the driver is provided with your reservation fee.
