Dementia Care - We have created a unique Dementia Care Program – framing dementia care services around the individual, not the disease – which embodies who they are, not just who we interact with today. It is a personalized and interactive method, where the end goal is to ensure those impacted by the disease can live the rest of their lives with a purpose.
Travel Companion - Traveling can be daunting under the best circumstances. To make certain your travel is as safe and stress-free as possible, our travel companions help throughout every leg of the trip with things such as: assistance with airport check-in and ticketing. carrying luggage. assistance with getting through security or customs and assistance with ground transportation.

How Much Assistance Is Needed?

Our in home care cost pricing is based on the unique needs of your situation and the amount of time you need a caregiver per day. We can provide services short-term or long-term, from just a few hours at a time to a live-in or 24/7 basis.

We also provide Respite Care for those family caregivers who need some well-deserved time to themselves every now and again, as well as our Travel Companion Program for traveling with your loved one or getting them help to travel alone.

First Light Home Care of Northwest Houston is Wayne Arrington’s newest and most personal business venture.

Arrington realized the need for quality in-home care after experiencing the problems his mother and stepfather had while trying to find an in-home caregiver after his stepfather’s stroke. He saw, first-hand, the overwhelming need for this type of care and was reminded of it after a friend started his own in-home care business.

Wayne is supported by his wife Debbie of 35 years, who intends to join him in the business after retirement, and his two grown children. He sincerely enjoys working with the elderly and others who require assistance and their families. He intends to make in-home care opportunities more accessible and to make First Light Home Care of Northwest Houston a leader in home care and dementia care for residents of the community.
