Arden Courts Resident Activities
Residents at Arden Courts are encouraged to continue whatever activities they were used to doing at home - setting the table or preparing for dinner, doing laundry, gardening in the backyard, or going out for social and community activities. All this is accomplished in a warm, friendly, familiar and safe setting supervised by people specially trained to care for those with Alzheimer's disease.
Since Alzheimer's disease is progressive an individual's stage of affliction often will determine the level and type of care required. Thefore, we find that family programs and support groups are the key component of all our programs. A range of care settings is offered for individuals various stages of Alzheimer's disease and related memory disorders.
Respite Care
Many families caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related type of dementia express a desire for relief from caregiving. For loved ones living with memory loss, the benefits of respite care for your family member include a new stimulus, the chance to interact with new people, and the opportunity to share new and different experiences.
