SPECIAL NOTE:
For low income seniors, the elderly and and those with disabilities (as well as their caregivers) who need help or assistance, we suggest contacting the following agencies:

red arrow Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services at 1-855-937-2372 and talk to a trained professional. To learn about the services they offer, access this page, clicking on the section entitled "Help for People who are Older (60+) and Caregivers": www.dads.state.tx.us/services/

We accomplish this through the work of our 25 Area Information Centers (AICs) across the state. 2-1-1 Texas is a free, anonymous social service hotline available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. www.211texas.org/
